What does it mean to be an EMT? We are the source, the beginning. When someone picks up the phone and calls 911 for an emergency we are the ones to show up right away. Whats not to love? As an EMT we face so many trials. How about going to a house, and having to deal with a 2 year child beaten so bad the child can't breath. Or a call in a middle of the night and it's your home address. Things like this make us who we are. We are the ones who deal with it first. Can we get a break.
