Medical field, I think that everyone should think about doing it. I am currently in school to be an E.M.T. and I love it. I love the feeling of being someone’s hope and help. I currently have two people in my family who are Nurse’s and besides the money that is my ultimate goal. To be a E.D. Nurse.
I attend Valencia Community College, and I love it there. I am glad I chose this school to further my career in EMS and eventually nursing. Not everyone is cut out for it though. I mean, you think in your life you have seen a lot. But as soon as you work for a hospital, or back of an ambulance you haven’t seen nothing.
I can tolerate a lot of things. Except vomit, and poop, I can’t stand it, other than that I am good to go. I work at a hospital for a little over a year and I loved it. I saw the worst and best of people, old, young, and just born. The feeling you get when you help out someone is amazing.
The E.M.T. school is rough though. I am currently going through and understanding 47 chapters in 3 months. That’s the requirement. If you can get through it, you can go through anything and the lifetime reward is priceless. I have the upmost respect for any person in any profession because I’m a job whore. I have done just about everything, and saying that I know and I’m confident of healthcare being apart of my life. .
What do you want to do? Where do you want to be? Healthcare maybe?
I assure that it’s the best field, don’t really have to worry about getting laid off because people will always get sick, or injured. Hospitals always need to be around, and ambulances need to transport people.
So, look into a radiology job, nursing, EMS, Nutrition, Respitory, Cardiac, Doctor, anything. It’s the most rewarding job that a person can have. Saving a life, rebuilding a future. Having some kind of happiness in yours.
